LFB Fire Cadets

Fire Cadets is a free programme for 14 to 17 year olds, providing young people with the opportunity to develop transferrable skills such as Team work and communication, through the Fire Brigade.

Those aged between 14-17 will also gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Fire and Rescue Services in the Community and develop their confidence in using fire-fighting equipment such as ladders and hoses. In addition to this, LFB Fire Cadets targets young people who are interested in learning or developing life skills, such as communication, decision making, creative thinking and self awareness.
