Young Leader (Volunteer Opportunity for 16-26 year olds) 3-8 hours a month with evenings and weekends
We are a start up youth charity in England called Youth Mix that aims to work in areas of need that bring young people together in unity, while also providing a number of positive and life enhancing events and programmes that give young people access to new opportunities and give them new and enhancing life experiences that could change their lives. Our purpose is to UNITE, EDUCATE, INSPiRE the lives of young people for the better and to help them aspire to greatness, inspiring a generation.Our events and programmes will cover topics related to the needs of young people such as life skills, personal development, employability skills, healthy living and wellbeing and other topics relevant to young people in England.
Made up of volunteers aged 16-26 years old, Young Leaders will actively participate in the work of Youth Mix, engage with public decision making and inspire other young people while developing teamwork and communication skills. Young Leaders will receive guidance and training from Youth Mix staff while participating in projects that have a real positive impact on their personal development and life skills.Young Leaders will also work on a variety of exciting projects from helping to shape Youth Mix as a youth charity by giving ideas and getting feedback from other young people, to organising activities, trips and events, making films or campaigning on the issues important to themselves and young people across England.

The is a vital role for Youth Mix as we want to be a charity for young people run by young people and requires approx. 3-8 hours per month (evenings and weekends, with occasional daytime activities when required and if you are available throughout the year).
